3 THINGS YOU HAVE AT HOME YOU CAN USE TO WORKOUT TODAY!
NO DUMBBELLS? NO PROBLEM! TRY THESE!
BACKPACK FILLED WITH BOOKS/WEIGHTS
If you don’t have dumbbells or your weights are feeling too light, grab a backpack and fill it with dumbbells and some extra heavy books. Wear the backpack on your front or back to mimic barbell squats, or treat it as a weight vest and add it to your daily walk or workout to up the intensity!
CANNED FOOD
If you’re dumbbells are too heavy for certain exercises or you’re trying to make do with what you got, cans are a great way to add some extra resistance. Try holding on while performing a cardio exercise like jumping jacks, high knee jogging or air boxing.
Additionally you can treat these as light to medium dumbbells for a variety of upper body exercises;
- Bent Over Reverse Fly
- Front and Lateral Raises
- Skull Crushers
- Tricep Extensions
- Bicep Curls
LARGE DETERGENT CONTAINER
Use a full one or fill an empty one with sand or water. It’s even got a handle! These will work great for strength exercises that need extra weight. If you treat it like a Kettlebell you can use it for Deadlifts or Bent Over Rows. Grab one for each hand for some Walking Lunges or Farmer’s Carry!
